Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care uses chiropractic adjustment to help restore proper motion and function to the joints of the body. When joint restrictions occur, they can have a negative effect on muscles, the nervous system and the body's ability to move. Once the restrictions are corrected the body will be able to heal faster and perform better.
Flexion Distraction
Flexion-distraction is a technique using a specialized table to help decompress the discs and the nerves in the low back. It is used to treat disc hernations, spinal stenosis, low back pain and leg pain.
Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression therapy involves stretching the spine, using a traction table. This is similar to flexion distraction, but for a longer duration of time. The goal of spinal decompression is to relieve pressure and pain from bulging, herniated, and degenerated discs. It will also increase blood circulation to the discs, allowing for a better healing environment.
Active Release Technique (ART)
ART is a soft tissue technique that uses motion to help treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. It is used to treat a number of conditions including headaches, sprain/strains, shoulder pain, and knee pain.
Graston Technique
Graston Technique is a soft tissue technique that uses a stainless steel instrument. The instrument is used to help break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions. It is widely used in treatment of athletic injuries.
Kineso Taping
Kineso tape is an elastic tape that is used with specific techniques to help the body heal at a faster rate. The tape is also used to stabilize and support joints and muscles in the body, while still allowing for full range of motion. The tape will typically stay on the body for 3-5 days and is waterproof.
